Our work is grounded in the Tellington TTouch® Method, and integrates other modalities and best practices. TTouch recognizes the inextricable link between posture, balance, mental and emotional states, and behavior. TTouch utilizes gentle bodywork, movement exercises and specialized equipment that: Increase body awareness, release tension, reduce fear and improve posture and balance. As dogs calm, their ability to focus and improves. They can then move beyond instinct – to act rather than react – and better learn new and/or more appropriate behaviors. As dogs become more confident, they are better able to handle new situations and those that were previously frightening. |
Success Stories
“The TTouch techniques I learned are a game changer for the dogs, either shy or reactive, that I’ll be working with in the future. Outstanding new tools.”

"Hi Clare! I just wanted to give you a little update on Cove. We’re in San Diego and we had a follow up one on one with our trainer here and Cove did great! This time we met at a park, leashed walking park, and Cove didn’t react much to most dogs OR people. He was curious but his hackles were down, his body wasn’t as tense and he wasn’t leaning forward. We were all stunned!
"Just now I took him out to potty and our landscapers are here, he saw him AND his leaf blower on his back, looked away, did his business as usual, looked up at him when he finished and even went up with no reactivity signals to say hi! "I know we’re not finished with training but I thought you’d like to hear about it. I’m so proud of him and so appreciative of you and your help!” ~ Ashley Lemmon, Ketchum, ID and San Diego, CA ~ |
